I have been playing the guitar for over 20 years with 10 years working professionally as a musician. I have achieved a grade 8 in Guitar and a BA Hons In Commercial Music. 

Ability to play guitar in all styles, specialising in rock and a strong ability to teach improvisation. 

I have worked as a guitarist in the uk and cruise ships sailing all around the world- performing cabarets with singers and theatre performers (Joe Mceldry, Kevin Simm, Ray Quin,Lee Mead, Nathan James), backing the leading UK tribute guest acts (Queen,Elton John, The Police), main shows with full productions and cast singers/dancers, theatre rock shows, and party band sets covering every style of music. 

I use effective teaching strategies tailor made to the student based on age and ability to allow you to achieve your goals- whether that be to work professionally as a full time guitarist, nail that rock solo you’ve always dreamt of playing or just to learn the basics! All ages and abilities are welcome and I have plenty of experience teaching children to play their first instrument (with up to date DBS). 

I am also proficient in sight reading music and have a strong understanding of music theory should that be a skill you wish to additionally develop.

5 bookings - £30 (per 1hr)
